A week or so ago I posted about how I excited I was to be trying out a few nail polish brands that were new to me and M2M damoreJon was one of them.  I can't say enough good things about this brand because they seem to have actually gotten everything just right.  Polish glides on like butter without a horrendous drying and did I mention their formula is Big 3 Free! This line was created based off the premise that natural nails are beautiful and a beautiful polish should compliment that fact and promotes the idea that natural nail care is best.

You may have not had the pleasure of hearing about this brand, but chances are some of your favorite stars and fashion mavens in the industry as well as behind the scenes have been sporting this lacquer and keeping it a secret.  Working some of the biggest shows in the industry such as New York's Fashion Week, M2M damoreJon is certainly not a fly by night brand and their formula proves it.  It has the perfect consistency that makes it easy to apply, all while reaching it's opacity with just two coats.  I love this formula as well as the bottle shape... it's like Chanel's, but maybe with a slightly wider shape.

I would never go into the store and without hesitation pick up a light blush colored pink like M2M's Funny Girl (which I'm seen wearing), but I'm so glad this is a shade that they sent for me to test.  It's so pretty and surprisingly not bad looking on me and has opened up my eyes to being more open when selecting shades.  M2M was wonderful enough to send along another nail varnish, a beautiful deep eggplant purple called First Lady.

These two lovely ladies have just won their choice colors from the new Spring 2010 Hong Kong collection!

Both naming polishes that I felt were the closest at being dupes for this burgundy wine colored nail polish.  Katy G Morris thinks the polish is CND's Adrenaline and I actually think she may just be right!

Where as Jean B. thinks the polish looks like China Glaze's Short & Sassy and that's quite the close comparison as well.  Halifax named Short & Sassy as well in the comments, but I went with the one who named it first.  But due to naming the polish that I feel is a good match, Halifax you too will be entitled to a prize.  :)  I'm feeling generous.

This was really a fun contest for me to host and I really did enjoy researching and comparing all the polishes that everyone contributed to the original post.

I came across this really nice photo of singer Ciara wearing this gorgeous nail color and it became the perfect excuse for me to host the very first contest giveaway here on polishSWATCHES, as well as maybe add a few polishes to my collection that I may not already have as well as yours.

I love this beautiful burgundy wine colored polish Ciara is wearing here on her nails, but could not find any information whatsoever as to what color it might actually be, so here is where the contest fun begins.  I thought it would be fun for you all to post your best dupes for this polish here in the comments section, me swatch the best possible choices, and the two who come the closest to duping the color wins their color choice from OPI's Hong Kong collection.
