I was able to get my hands on Picnic in Central Park from Chi's Spring 2010 Secret Fantasy Collection. The color is a gorgeous mint green creme and not a matte shade as some had originally thought. The other colors that I had planned to purchase unfortunately were already gone. Maybe if I keep checking back I can get lucky or at least request that they be placed on order.
Working with this formula was a little strange to me and certainly didn't apply how I thought it would. For now I'll just say I'm leaning towards liking it, but I dunno, that could all change . It's consistency is on the thicker side of the spectrum so I was certain it would apply opaque with two coats, but that just wasn't the case for me and it really suprised me for what that's worth. Maybe if I had applied it a little more on the heavier 2 coats would have been enough.

Pictured I actually have on about 4 coats of polish which is unheard of for me, but the interesting thing to me about this polish is that it has a Seche Vite characteristic. When applying this polish I noticed it seemed to be somewhat self leveling, with the ability to even itself out. Drying time was definitely no "Picnic in Central Park," especially after having to apply four coats.

For me personally, this is a formula I'll have to get use to in order to be able to apply it well. I think I'll try out a few more colors to see if this is a brand I'd like to keep adding.

Excuse my horrendous cuticles, but I'm way overdue for a "real" mani. I could't however resist throwing in a closeup shot of the NFU Oh 56 Flakie goodness. I created a look on my index finger I have affectionally dubbed "Mermania". It looks like the scales of a mermaids tail or at least how I've envisioned it to look.
I added two coats of NFU Oh 56 to my finger then I added "spots" of the Chi Picnic in Central Park on top, then topped with another coat of NFU Oh 56 and China Glaze's Matte Magic.
