Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine in Shining... and whew, the reflection is B-R-I-G-H-T! I love the illustrious high gloss shine that's achieved with this polish without the use of a topcoat.

My hubby actually gifted this to me during the time I was trying to find a dupe for the Ciara polish. Even though he teases me about my little "obsession" he's still very supportive and even an enabler at times.

This was two applications of polish on my nails and this particular formula was very easy to work with. This Sally Hansen line is equipped with a regular brush of course and that made application a dream for me.

Hubs said this polish set him back about $5.99, but the good thing is you can usually catch on sale. I wish they would add more colors to this polish because I actually really like this formula... alot!

I came across this really nice photo of singer Ciara wearing this gorgeous nail color and it became the perfect excuse for me to host the very first contest giveaway here on polishSWATCHES, as well as maybe add a few polishes to my collection that I may not already have as well as yours.

I love this beautiful burgundy wine colored polish Ciara is wearing here on her nails, but could not find any information whatsoever as to what color it might actually be, so here is where the contest fun begins. I thought it would be fun for you all to post your best dupes for this polish here in the comments section, me swatch the best possible choices, and the two who come the closest to duping the color wins their color choice from OPI's Hong Kong collection.

I've been dying to hold a contest as well as dying to put some of the colors from the OPI Hong Kong collection into someones hand and this is the perfect opportunity to do so. DESIGNER SERIES by OPI Nail Lacquer is an extraordinary fusion of couture and technology. Its breakthrough state-of-the-art formula combines precious dazzling diamond dust with pigments so saturated with color that they glow. As with a perfectly cut diamond, DESIGNER SERIES by OPI colors reflect light in an explosion of color. There are 20 colors and 2 treatments in the DESIGNER SERIES, but just one will make a statement on its own.

My how diamonds glisten in the light....

This is one of the few polishes that I have that I find myself wanting to repeatedly put on. I absolutely adore this color and it looks great against my skin. The color is absolutely brilliant and it literally only takes one coat of this to achieve it's full color potential. It was extremely hard for me to get a picture that captured the color in all it's splendor, as this is really one of those colors you just have to see in person for the full on effect. The polish is a streak free formula equipped with the pro-wide brush and full of dazzle and shine.

I think I paid around $7 for this polish, but that was due to me using my members card at CosmoProf beauty supply. I am unsure of the true retail price for this particular polish, but due to it having the diamond dust infused in it I would say it probably retails for around $10 - $12 dollars. I experienced no staining or bleed through of my base coat with this particular polish even though this is a darker color. I honestly can't say enough good things about it because honestly, DIAMONDS are a girls best friend!

The week before Christmas I had the opportunity to do a review of Rimmel Play Fast Nail Color in Killer Queen and I thought I'd share with you my two cents on what I liked, and yes disliked about this particular polish. First, let me start off by saying that this was my first time ever using or should I say swatching this particular brand of polish. I have used Rimmel Play Fast Scene Stealer as a color for a design, but have never actually swatched this particular brand before.

I believe this polish costs me around $3 and I purchased this color (Killer Queen) and Scene Stealer as well from my local Target store when I was actually suppose to be on a polish buying strike... Go figure!

What I liked about this polish was the color and the overall look of it once it was applied. The formula wasn't watery and didn't seem inconsistent, but when applying you should do exactly as the name implies... Play Fast! You have very little time to manipulate or play around with the polish when applying due to it's quick drying nature.

I don't really consider myself a packaging girl, but I do seem to like this bottle. The name of the polish is clearly displayed on the front and it's not your average round or square bottle. What I didn't really like about this polish, in all actuality, really had nothing to do with the polish itself, but the brush. I'm not really a fan of the brush... at all!

I don't know if it was me, but it did not go along my edges very well and it left them looking somewhat choppy. I'm the type that likes an easy application and little to no cleanup once done and with this brush I would have to go back and really clean up along my edges. So, I've decided that when using this polish I'll use an artist paint brush instead.

Overall I would rate this polish 4.0 out of 5.0 strictly based off my issues with the brush, but the polish itself is of very good quality.

With one topcoat of Seche Vite this particular polish lasted around 5 days without any additional touchups.
