The beauty, the femininity, and yes, that urban edge... the Tracy Reese NYFW Fall 2010 Nail Trends

Creating a fall collection with edgy textures, chunky knits, and feminine floaty dresses, designer Tracy Reese pulled no stops at the nails.

Producing beautiful putty colored manicures on her models using the new fall shade Wet Clay, that was in turn topped with a sexy overlay of black lace on the nails.

Reese's models fingertips looked as though they were wearing designs from her collection, one in which she's labeled "an eclectic mix of urban and rural style."

I love how Tracy Reese is bold and isn't afraid to push style. And I honestly love how she took the mannequin hands trend and played it up a bit. Well, ALOT!

Bringing us 5 new neutral Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shades next fall, the colors will be Bitter Sweet, Touch of Mink, Wet Clay, Fedora, and Evening Fog

CND's Gorgeous NYFW Nail Creations for Ruffian

I am gasping for air and clutching my pearls as I gaze at the beautiful nails that Creative Nail Design or CND, created for the models at the NYFW Ruffian fashion show. Here's what CND's beautiful Style Director, Jan Arnold, had to say about the inspiration behind this fashion-forward nail design...

"For nails, we created medium length, tailored shapes in matte midnight blue with a crescent gold chrome moon nestled into the cuticle area, extending gracefully up the sides. The vision for this nail came from the sky – which appeared a golden crescent moon only the day after our meeting. I think it was a divine message!!"

L.A.M.B. New York Fashion Week Nail Trends

I don't know about you all, but I am absolutely in love with Gwen Stefani, her style, and her fashion line. So I was super stoked and excited to get a look at the nail trends that her models were wearing on the runway at New York Fashion week.

In true Gwen Stefani style her look was edgey and chic, while her runway nail trends remained dark and vampy. And even though CND was equipped backstage with an amazing array colors, Stefani chose to stick with classic dark colors that will always remain trendy. Opting to use CND's Ruby.

Stefani herself rocked a gorgeous black nail...

and as always had a fabulous runway show!

I always look forward to the L.A.M.B. fashion show as Gwen Stefani never disappoints with her fashions. It amazes me how she took the fashion world by storm and has earned her rightful place in it. Go Gwen!
