polishSWATCHES: Wet n Wild Night Prowl

Oh my goodness I love this color and it matches my mood today perfectly. :) Wet n Wild Night Prowl is an absolute stunner! The perfect vampy polish with a little something extra.

I originally had on China Glaze's Turned Up Turquoise, but immediately painted over it when I saw this in my stash. Thus the traces of turquoise you can see peeking through- sorry about the minimal cleanup.

I applied this polish in three even coats and had absolutely no application issues whatsoever. I noticed that while applying this over the Turned Up Turquoise that a thin layer over it makes a wonderful combo.

I'm definitely snagging backup bottles of this particular color and I hope Wet n Wild decides to make more fun shades like this one. It would be nice to see them add some jelly type polishes and some chromes or duochromes as well.

polishSWATCHES: Wet n Wild Blue Moon along with some blue comparisons

If you're a lover of blue shades then Wet n Wild Blue Moon is certainly one you should consider. It's a very rich looking Navy Blue with wonderful hints of metallic shimmer. This went on opaque with 3 coats, but could possibly be done with just two. I was just trying to ensure I had thoroughly coated my nail since I was going to include a few comparisons.

With most of Wet n Wild's polishes only costing .99 cents, these certainly aren't shades that are going to put a big dent in your beauty budget. I will say however, as I always do with most polishes, they should always be worn with a really good salon quality topcoat. Because let's face it, even the most expensive nail polishes chip!

My topcoat of choice is almost always Seche Vite though I have been cheating here lately and using Essie's 3-Way glaze as well.

polishSWATCHES: Wet n Wild Blue Moon along with some blue comparisons

Wet N Wild Blue Moon

While searching through my stash I ended up finding my continue here...

polishSWATCHES: OPI Hong Kong Hot & Spicy vs Wet n Wild Blazed

Pinky Finger: Hot & Spicy, Ring Finger: Blazed, Middle Finger: Hot & Spicy

polishSWATCHES: OPI Hong Kong Hot & Spicy vs Wet n Wild Blazed

Index Finger: Blazed, Middle Finger: Hot & Spicy

Though they're not actual dupes, I've noticed lately that Wet n Wild has a few polishes that are really similar to a few of OPI's. They can't pass for the exact same polish, but for only .99 cents they can certainly pull the wool over someones eyes if need be! Hot & Spicy had a more prominent orange undertone than Blazed, but I still think the two are somewhat similar... What do you think?!
